What’s up guys, my name’s Blake and I’m a filmmaker from Tampa, Florida.

About 3 years ago, as my soccer career was cut short due to untimely injuries, I started to learn film from countless hours of Youtube tutorials and trial and errors. Currently living in San Diego, I spend most of my time either in the water, dirtbag camping in the mountains or desert or behind my computer making videos about all the adventures.

Over the past few years, life’s brought me on some pretty cool journeys around the world. A few of my recent favorites have been: The two months I lived in Nicaragua surfing and serving local organizations, a 1,000 mile sail from Panama to The Galápagos Islands, and a three month road trip across the states bumming it in my car. My good bud once said that his life is in pursuit of building relationships and experiences. I’m going to cosign my name to that and say that my films and my life are in that same pursuit. 

 

  

I feel very fortunate that my “job” is to create videos for brands, organizations, etc. But I want to live in a way that my work always comes second to livin’. There’s some exciting adventures in the future including service work in Kenya, sailing in Tahiti and road tripping in Ireland. None of those specifically for “work” but I’ll be filming regardless.
