G’day crew, I’m Nayth, the founder and CEO of Ryde Clothing.

For me, Ryde has been a big part of my life since 2016 and has become my way of making sense of the world. I have really come to understand that my life shouldn’t be about waiting until I’m expert in something, experienced in something or talented at something before getting after it, In fact it is the process of becoming expert, experienced or talented that really matters, this is where the moments are made, this is where the joy is.

I started Ryde when I was 16 from my bedroom whilst in high school and that was a really neat deal. I was, and am, really proud of where I’ve come from, but I’m a lot more excited about where I, and Ryde, are going. I’ve come to understand that age doesn’t mean much to me, what I value is a person's character and stories, and I'm interested in the way they see the world and what they feel connected to and passionate about... That’s why as a part of what I’m committed to with Ryde, I really want people to resist the notion that growing up has to mean growing old. I never want to stop searching for the joy that comes from the journey; I never want to stop searching for the light. I feel It's not the outcome that matters, it's the moments, experiences and memories made along the way to get there that matters the most. 

Ryde is about you and what you believe in; it’s about what you are passionate about. Not me: you. My job is to give you a place, a Community and a home where you can keep proudly and boldly being you, nothing more, nothing less. So if you love surfing, skateboarding or wakeboarding; or if you love playing the piano, playing chess, or hiking; or if reading, writing, music or poetry are your thing, the Ryde Community is your place to call home.
